What does “pre-order” mean?

A pre-order reserves your Mila Nova coat before it officially launches. Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase. Because each coat is produced in small batches, ordering early guarantees your size and colour.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. You’ll receive a confirmation email immediately after placing your order. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Because pre-orders move quickly into production, orders cannot be cancelled or modified once placed. Please double-check sizing, colour, and shipping details before completing your purchase.

How long does production take?

Production typically takes 30-60 days from the close of the pre-order window. However we cannot guarantee an exact date.

Shipping Policy

Why do I pay for shipping upfront?

Pre-orders are processed like regular orders so we can secure your production spot and delivery slot. Shipping is charged at checkout to avoid delays once your coat is ready.

When will my pre-order ship?

Estimated Shipping Window: 5–6 weeks after purchase, however we cannot guarantee an exact date.

You will receive:

  • A confirmation email immediately
  • A shipping notification once your coat is dispatched
Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we ship within Canada and the United States only. As Mila Nova grows, we look forward to expanding our shipping destinations internationally in the future ;)

What if my package is lost or delayed?

Once your order has shipped, Mila Nova is not responsible for delays caused by the courier or customs. Please contact the carrier directly using your tracking number.

Will I be charged duties or tariffs? (Canada & U.S. orders)

Orders shipped within Canada are not subject to additional duties or tariffs at delivery.

For U.S. orders, your shipment may be subject to customs duties or tariffs depending on U.S. import regulations. Any applicable duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price or shipping cost.

Returns Policy

How do I return my order?

You can return your order up to 14 days after it has been delivered, if all tags are still attached.

Please note, returns are not free - you pay for shipping back to us.

Do I have to pay for postage if I want to return an item?

Yes, you have to cover postage for a return.

Do you offer exchanges?

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If eligible, you may return your item and place a new order.

Sizing & Product Details

How do I choose the right size?

Please refer to the size guide on the product page. If you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up for layering.

Will the sparkles fall off?

Our embellishments are securely applied for durability. However, as with all embellished garments, gentle handling is recommended.

How should I care for my coat?

We recommend professional cleaning only.
